ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 17, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Four Seasons Financial Education (FSFE) recently revealed their 2016 Employee Financial Wellness Survey. This year's survey revealed the impact of employee satisfaction on 401(k) education with and without a financial wellness program. Employees were asked, "How helpful is the education you receive from your employer's 401(k) plan?" They were then asked to pick from five categories from "extremely helpful" to "not at all helpful."
When no wellness program existed in the workplace, 8% of employees answered, "extremely helpful." When an employee had a financial wellness program available, that response increased to 17%. There was also an improvement in the botton two categories of "not very helpful" and "not at all helpful" from 25% to 14% when a financial wellness program was provided.
"When retirement plan professionals and financial wellness vendors work together, they can greatly increase participant knowledge," says Travis Freeman, president of FSFE. "It takes a team of professionals to work towards the greatest impact for the employer and the participants."
The new FSFE survey also reviewed top financial goals, employer loyalty, benefits understanding, wellness statistics and more. This year's survey included 554 full-time employees from around the US. The survey results can be found at http://www.FSFE.com/survey.
