The PowerFLOW Solution Forum is a one-day conference where leading automotive, off-road vehicle and other ground transportation industry manufacturers and suppliers from around the world meet to discuss the latest innovations and developments in simulation-driven design, elaborating on how Exa's suite of simulation tools has played a vital role in their respective product development processes.

This year’s keynote speaker, Mr. Munehiko Oshima, Expert Leader of Advanced Vehicle Performance at Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., will present his company’s future plans for automotive aerodynamics and performance development. Other guest speakers include Mr. Yuji Kodama of Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd., who will discuss the company’s recent implementation of special tire fin patterns to reduce aerodynamic drag, adapted within Exa’s PowerFLOW simulation software.

Mr. Fang ZhiYun of Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co. Ltd., will present his team’s use of PowerFLOW to simulate flow fields in HVAC systems, and how the results allowed for intricate enhancements to their design. Mr. Kenichi Hano of Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Ltd., will offer insights into the application of PowerFLOW and ExaCLOUD® within construction machinery development. Mr. Tsuyoshi Kanuma at Calsonic Kansei Corp. will present their digital development approach at Calsonic Kansei.  Mr. Yukio Shidara at Denso Corporation, will discuss the company’s use of simulation software to optimize thermal performance and create cooling solutions for its products.
