msg life publishes financial data for the first quarter of 2016
(Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 30 May 2016) - msg life ag (ISIN DE0005130108)
published its financial report for the first quarter of 2016 today. The
report reveals that the company generated aggregate turnover of 28.5
million euros (prior-year period: 26.6 million euros) and earnings before
interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) amounting to 2.1
million euros (prior-year period: 2.0 million euros). The recent quarterly
figures show that the company is building on the positive developments of
the 2015 financial year and that its turnover and earnings are in line with
the annual forecasts.
As at 31 March 2016, the earnings per share totalled 0.04 euros (prior-year
period: 0.03 euros). Equity as at 31 March 2016 totalled 47.3 million
euros, which represents an increase of 1.1 million euros in comparison with
the balance sheet date in 2015. The equity ratio was 52.2 per cent as at 31
March 2016. As at the end of the first quarter of 2016, msg life's
workforce consisted of 869 employees (prior-year period: 866 employees).
In the 2016 financial year, msg life expects earnings before interest,
taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of between 10.0 and 12.0
million euros and aggregate turnover of between 110.0 and 112.0 million
euros.
