Kratos Receives $3.6 Million in Mass Transportation Critical Infrastructure Security Awards


SAN DIEGO, June 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Public Safety & Security Division (PSS) has recently received approximately $3.6 million in contract awards for the design, engineering, deployment and integration of specialized security systems into command and control infrastructure for two major mass transportation customers in the United States.  The security systems to be deployed include access control, video surveillance, analytics, communications and other security assets and infrastructure.  The security systems under these two contract awards will be deployed over the next several months.  PSS is an industry leader in the deployment and system integration into command and control infrastructure of specialized security systems protecting certain of the United States’ most important critical infrastructure, strategic assets and public safety venues.
