Capital Bank Financial Corp. Appoints Market President For Middle Tennessee


CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capital Bank Financial Corp. (Nasdaq:CBF) (the “Company”) announced today that Dave Briggs has joined the Company as Market President and Commercial Banking Executive for Middle Tennessee.  He will work out of the Company’s office in Brentwood, TN.

Briggs previously served at Bank of America, where his 27-year career included growing commercial, private wealth, government, business banking, and consumer relationships in Tennessee and North Carolina.  A cum laude graduate of Western Carolina University, Briggs has held leadership positions in a number of community organizations and currently serves on the board of directors of the Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee.
