Moody‘s Investors Service has today placed all of Landsvirkjun‘s ratings on review for upgrade, including the Baa2 senior unsecure rating benefitting from the guarantee of collection from the Government of Iceland and the Ba1 senior unsecured un-guaranteed ratings.
Today’s rating action was driven by the potential strengthening of the Icelandic government’s credit profile, as captured by Moody’s review for upgrade of Iceland’s Baa2 Issuer and government bond ratings on June 10, 2016.
