JM Construction continues to build the new Slussen, Stockholm

The City of Stockholm Development Office has designated JM Construction to be
its general contractor for the construction of the quay in the Slussen project.
The contract includes the construction of a 200-meter quay, a surface water
reservoir, culverts, pipeline and cable relocation and a provisional bus
terminal for the Nacka buses. This assignment is in addition to an ongoing
project, where JM Construction and the City of Stockholm Development Office have
been working together since 2013 to complete an extensive relocation of
pipelines and cables at project at Slussen.

“We are very pleased that we have been selected to continue to build the new
Slussen. It is an interesting project that is of great interest for the general
public, and it also contains a number of technically advanced solutions,” says
JM Construction’s Work Supervisor, Anders Kipping.

The contract started in May 2016 and will be completed at the end of 2017. The
total contract amounts to approximately SEK 90m, evenly distributed across the
term of the contract.

certification in this area has enabled us to continue to help building the new
