Marron Wellness Center Promotes Upcoming Workshop on July 19th

SHREWSBURY, N.J., June 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marron Wellness Center, a chiropractic and wellness clinic in Shrewsbury, NJ, recently announced an upcoming workshop covering the common causes of chronic back pain and ways to alleviate it without resorting to prescription medication, surgery or other invasive techniques. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 19th at 9:30 a.m. It is being conducted at Marron Wellness Center, which is located at 179 Avenue at the Common #5 in Shrewsbury. Leading the workshop will be Dr. Raj Joshi, the wellness center's resident physical therapist.

"Given Dr. Joshi’s extensive credentials and experience, he is the perfect person to lead such a workshop," said Dr. David Marron, owner and chiropractor at Marron Wellness Center. "We're looking forward to showing patients that surgery and medication aren't their only options," he added.

This complimentary event is open to the public and attendees are encouraged to bring friends. “This workshop is informational, and it's intended to raise awareness about managing and treating chronic pain through holistic, non-invasive approaches," said Dr. Joshi. "We encourage residents of Shrewsbury, Monmouth County and outlying areas to come in and check it out," he said.

Dr. Joshi is eager to share his knowledge with those who attend the workshop. An experienced physical therapist, Dr. Joshi earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Ramapo College. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2010, which is also when he received his New Jersey state licensure. Although the workshop is intended to be educational, Dr. Joshi also wants it to be fun. "We're going to serve a light breakfast, and we're going to examine this issue in a lighthearted but interesting and informative way," he said. "I want to keep people engaged and interested in the topic at hand, and I'm hoping that attendees get actively involved in the workshop," he added.

The theme of the workshop aligns with the overall mission of Marron Wellness Center, which is to help patients achieve healthy, pain-free lives without resorting to prescription medications, surgeries and other invasive techniques. The clinic offers a wide array of wellness services, including chiropractic services, acupuncture, massage therapy, physical therapy, K-laser and spinal decompression. Dr. Marron and his team employ an interdisciplinary approach to helping patients achieve pain-free, healthy lifestyles. "Nothing makes us happier than changing people's lives for the better," said Dr. Marron.
