Anoto completes Phase I of Pens and Cradles in Japan on June 24th

Lund, June 20, 2016 - Anoto Group AB (publ) will successfully manufacture and deliver phase I target pens and cradles for the long delayed Japanese insurance company project to its Japanese partners on June 24th. This was the largest transaction by Anoto and there were technical difficulties which caused project delays.

Anoto is expected to successfully conclude in Q2 the Phase I of the project which entails 25,900 pens and cradles. Phase II will conclude in July/August which includes remainder 2,727 pens and a new order of additional 4000 pens.

"I am truly glad to finish Phase I of this project and the strong cooperative relationship among Anoto and its Japanese partners made this possible.  Given the stature of our ultimate customer, the Japanese life insurance company, this project was extremely important for us.  I would like to especially thank our engineering team who spent almost every night talking to our factory in China and our Japanese partners," said Joonhee Won, the CEO of Anoto.
