no 45/16 Change in the Margin Propagation Rule for Nasdaq Commodities Monday June 20, 2016

This is to inform you about an amendment to the margin propagation rules which allows positive Margin Requirement from House Margin Calculation Accounts to be propagated to the House Margin Requirement Account. As a consequence of this, adjusted Base Collateral Requirement and Extraordinary Margin Requirement will be offset by a positive Margin Requirement. The change is effective from today, Monday June 20, 2016.

The adjusted Base Collateral Requirement is calculated as follows:

Adjusted Base Collateral Requirement = Original Base Collateral Requirement – Contribution to the Commodities Default Fund
