Changes in areas of responsibility in the Executive Committee of Aktia Bank

Carl Pettersson appointed Deputy Managing Director of Aktia

Deputy Managing Director Carl Pettersson takes over the responsibility for the business areas Private customers, Corporate customers, Private Banking and Marketing. Pettersson also continues as head of the group’s strategic planning. Deputy Managing Director Taru Narvanmaa is responsible for the business areas Saving, Lending, Payments and Insurance as well as for Communications. Narvanmaa continues as alternate for Managing Director Jussi Laitinen and is also Chair of the Board of Directors of Aktia Life Insurance Ltd. The appointments will enter into force on 01/08/2016.

In addition to Laitinen, Narvanmaa and Pettersson, the Executive Committee of Aktia comprises Mia Bengts (HR and Group Legal), Juha Hammarén (Chief Control Officer), Anssi Rantala (Institutional Clients and Asset Management), Fredrik Westerholm (Chief financial Officer), Magnus Weurlander (Chief Information Officer).
