Kemira to sell part of Class B shares in Pohjolan Voima to Etelä-Suomen Voima

Kemira has agreed to sell 43.33% of its holding of Class B shares in Pohjolan Voima Oy to Etelä-Suomen Voima Oy. The traded shares are entitled to nuclear power production capacity and they form approximately 16% of Kemira's current electricity production capacity. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2016. The transaction price is approximately EUR 35 million and Kemira will report a capital gain of approximately EUR 5 million under financial items in the second quarter.
