INVISIO (IVSO) has received an order of communications systems with hearing protection from US army’s modernization program TCAPS through its partner TEA. The order value amounts to approximately 100 SEK million and delivery is planned to take place successively and be completed within the next 12 months.
“Our good cooperation with the US Army and the TCAPS program have been ongoing since 2013 and we are proud and pleased with the continued confidence this order expresses. This is a clear statement of trust in the benefits of our products in the field, with high demands for example on hearing protection and situational awareness”, said Lars Højgård Hansen, CEO of INVISIO.
The order comprises INVISIO’s TCAPS solution that has been adapted to customer needs. The system is advanced and robust, easy to use and ensures a good hearing protection while the wearer is able to communicate and maintain situational awareness.
TCAPS, the Tactical Communication and Protective System, is one of the world’s largest modernization programs for hearing protection and communication. Run by the US Army and PEO soldier, the program approved and implemented INVISIO’s product solutions in 2013 to reduce the risk of hearing loss and improve the wearer’s communication potential.
