Elsevier Publishes "Snow Leopards," Part of New Series, "Biodiversity of the World: Conservation From Genes to Landscapes"

The book is the first in a new series, "Biodiversity of the World: Conservation from Genes to Landscapes," edited by Dr. Philip Nyhus, which includes titles focused on specific species or taxa across disciplinary boundaries and spatial scales. Elsevier also introduced two additional new veterinary and animal science titles.

Snow Leopards was edited by Dr. Tom McCarthy and Dr. David Mallon, recognized snow leopard experts with more than 50 years of collective experience in research and conservation of the species. It is the only comprehensive work on the biology, behavior and conservation status of the snow leopard, long one of the least studied of the large cats.
