Tonix Pharmaceuticals Announces Full Exercise and Closing of Underwriters’ Over-Allotment Option


NEW YORK, July 12, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:TNXP) (Tonix), today announced that the underwriters of Tonix’s previously announced public offering that initially closed on June 21, 2016, have purchased an additional 750,000 shares of Tonix’s common stock at a price of $2.00 per share, before deducting the underwriting discount, in connection with the exercise in full of their over-allotment option. Tonix has now sold a total of 5,750,000 shares of its common stock in connection with the offering, with total gross proceeds of $11.5 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other estimated offering expenses payable by Tonix.

Roth Capital Partners and National Securities Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Holdings, Inc., acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
