Micromem: Update on Oil and Gas Client Product Developments


TORONTO and NEW YORK, July 13, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Micromem Technologies Inc. (“Micromem”) (“the Company”) (CSE:MRM) (OTCQX:MMTIF) through its wholly owned subsidiary Micromem Applied Sensor Technologies Inc. (MAST), is pleased to announce the advancement of its MEMS product development for the oil industry. The Company’s partner is beginning to purchase the product for initial field evaluation with their critical clients. On the final form factor MEMS product version, the engineering work is proceeding towards a foundry insertion date, which has been planned for Q416. The unit sales will be reported as Revenue, not as Deferred Development Costs.
