Feast to the Beat rolls into Ventura with very special guests

The first stop of this unique road trip celebrating our American roots brings food and music

GLENDALE, Calif., July 13, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Feast to the Beat national road trip tour offers a great opportunity to enjoy some of our most treasured national parks in a whole new way.  At each stop the public is invited to enjoy great music and food along with special activations from local and national sponsors. Each event stop highlights the local area’s culture and history, showcasing the best in food, drink, music and arts.

The first stop features a very special appearance by a surprise guest recording his Grammy award-winning sounds in the state-of-art mobile recording studio, Jam in the Van https://www.youtube.com/user/JamintheVan. Four other bands join in for the day of music featuring: Sam Outlaw, The Brevet, Layne and Braeves.

Food also takes center stage as our celebrity chef, Jamie Gwen www.chefjamie.com entertains with a variety of food and drink, all with a coastal, California vibe.  And we’ll be raffling off special gift baskets with Lodge cookware and more!

Rounding out the day will be specialized activities and interpretive programming from our partners and sponsors including the Humane Society of Ventura and Disney Studios along with games and contests.

Mark your calendars as we begin in Ventura, California (Channel Islands) July 15th, heading to Asheville, North Carolina (Blue Ridge Parkway) on August 5 and rolling into Cleveland, Ohio (Ohio & Erie Canalway) on August 13th.  With free admission and free entertainment, everyone in the family will have a great time and discover a little more about America’s great treasures, our national parks and historic districts.

The Feast to the Beat road trip is a production of HQ, Glendale, CA.
