Interim Report Second Quarter 2016

Stockholm - Tele2 AB, (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today
announced its consolidated results for the second quarter 2016.

Financial highlights:

Tele2 AB’s net sales in the second quarter amounted to SEK 6,668 (6,611) million
and EBITDA amounted to SEK 1,087 (1,393) million

Group mobile end-user service revenue up 2 percent like for like

  · Sweden momentum improving but EBIDTA down
  ·
Netherlands significantly improved customer intake

  ·
Baltic region continues to show healthy margin development

  ·
Kazakhstan performance strong

  ·
Net loss in the quarter mainly due to Netherlands investment
