Award-Winning Craft Brewery Receives Silver Medal at Premier Industry Competition


BOONE, N.C., July 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Appalachian Mountain Brewery, Inc. (OTC:HOPS) (“AMB”) announced today it was awarded a prestigious Silver Medal in the 2016 U.S. Open Beer Championship, held earlier this month in Ohio. Breweries from Maui to Munich sent in almost 5,000 beers representing over 90 different styles.

An annual competition consisting of the top professional and award-winning home brewers, it included breweries from Australia, China, Czech Republic, Venezuela, Canada, Belgium, Germany, Mexico, Sweden, Finland, Scotland and England, which competed. The judges tasted blind without knowing what beers they were tasting.
