MacB CEO Shares Real-World Insights at Defense Acquisition University


Dayton, Ohio , Aug. 08, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions, today announced that MacB President and CEO Sidney E. Fuchs was invited by the Professional Services Council (PSC) and Defense Acquisition University (DAU) to provide an “Industry Perspective” as part of a DAU 301 Course on Advanced Enterprise Information Systems Acquisition. Mr. Fuchs offered an overview of defense-related acquisition strategies, highlighting various factors that industry considers when bidding and performing on IT and engineering services procurements. The course presentation was made on Thursday, August 4 in Kettering, Ohio. 

Mr. Fuchs is an accomplished leader and executive with a 30-year track record of leading and building companies and organizations within the Aerospace and Defense industry. Under his leadership, MacB has completed several acquisitions and experienced continued growth in a very challenging industry by penetrating new markets and adding mission-critical capabilities. In 2015, the company delivered over 200 contract wins totaling more than $430M, an all-time record for the company. He is also a former Central Intelligence Agency officer having served at domestic and foreign posts, and was appointed by the White House and Secretary of Defense to the National Defense University Board of Visitors in 2002, where he served until 2012. 

PSC is a national trade association representing federal contractors in the technology and professional services industries, working to shape public policy and build consensus between government and industry. DAU provides a global learning environment to develop qualified acquisition, requirements and contingency professionals who deliver and sustain effective and affordable warfighting capabilities.
