Web developer noted for continued growth

eSchoolView named to Inc. 5000 list for third consecutive time

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 18, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The third time is more than a charm as eSchoolView is listed for the third straight year as one of the nation's fastest growing privately held companies.

Listed at 3351 on Inc. Magazine's 5000, eSchoolView reported a growth rate of 89 percent for the past three years combined. None of its main competitors are on the list and the firm is one of fewer than 75 education-related companies named.

The Inc. 5000 is in its 35th year and puts eSchoolView among top performers such as Zappos, FitBit, Intuit, Smashburger and GoPro. Founded in 2008 and based in Columbus, Ohio with offices in North Carolina and Arizona, eSchoolView creates custom websites for K-12 schools through a Content Management System (CMS) and builds education management software.

"Our continued growth is significant because it underscores our client retention," eSchoolView Executive Director Rob O'Leary said. "We work hard to deliver relevant and reliable products to attract new business, yet take very seriously our charge to develop tools for the evolving needs of our existing clients."

Much of this year's growth and that forecasted can be attributed to OneView, a tool eSchoolView created directly from customer feedback to enhance data integration. OneView helps districts increase internal efficiency and parent engagement by pushing and pulling—with one login—student database information (enrollment details, health records, athletic eligibility) from various student information systems (SIS) such as ProgressBook, PowerSchool, InfiniteCampus and eSchoolPlus.

"We build websites, but we are in the business of creating sustainable relationships," O'Leary said. "Whether that's between our team and our clients, or our clients and their parents and communities, we believe our role to be critical in providing reliable and trustworthy service."

eSchoolView hosts websites for more than 1,500 schools and school districts across the country. DeKalb County Schools in Georgia and Columbus Public Schools in Ohio are two of the company's larger clients where a network of smaller districts such as those in New York under the umbrella of the Broome-Tioga Board of Educational Cooperative Services (BOCES) are also part of the mix. BASIS, one of the most reknowned charter school systems in the country, also uses eSchoolView as its website provider.

The 2016 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2012 to 2015. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2012; the minimum revenue required for 2012 is $100,000 and $2 million for 2015. More details about the qualifications and complete results can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

OneView was awarded a Cool Tool award by EdTech Digest in 2016, and CIOReview named eSchoolView in 2015 as one of the 50 Most Promising Education Tech Solution Providers.
