On 26 August 2016, AS Merko Ehitus Eesti – part of AS Merko Ehitus group – and OÜ Pärnu Maantee 22 entered into a contract to perform design and construction works of a commercial building located in the city centre of Tallinn, at Pärnu road 22.
Under the contract, Merko will build a 6-storey commercial building with one underground floor, which includes office, retail and commercial space. In the construction process, the existing limestone façade will be maintained. In addition, a public parking building with 218 parking spaces will be built.
The value of the contract is approximately EUR 10 million, plus value added tax. Construction works will start in August 2016 and will be completed in May 2018.
