Niklas Sonkin, COO, to leave Tele2


Stockholm – Tele2 AB, (Tele2), (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) today
announces that Niklas Sonkin, COO, is leaving the Company.
Niklas Sonkin joined Tele2 AB in 2009 and has since then been responsible for
developing the company’s operations outside of Sweden and the Netherlands. In
October 2015, he assumed the position as COO of Tele2.

Allison Kirkby, President and CEO, Tele2 AB, comments: “I would like to express
my appreciation to Niklas for his many contributions, which have included the
growth of our Baltic markets, the restructuring of our German operations and in
the establishment of our JV in Kazakhstan.”

Niklas Sonkin will leave the company September 2, but will remain as Chairman of
the Board of Tele2’s JV operation in Kazakhstan, Khan Tengri Holding B.V. and
Board member of Mobile Telecoms-Service LLP.

Fredrik Stenberg, currently Director of Customer Operations and member of the
Shared Operations Leadership Team, will assume the position as acting COO.

Tele2 AB will immediately commence a search for a replacement and will issue a
press release when the position has been filled.
