Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue from continued operations for August totalled 3,927 thousand euros, increasing by 8% compared to the same period last year.
Baltika’s retail sales for August increased by 4% compared to the same period last year, thereof increase in Estonia 11% and Latvia 4% and decrease in Lithuania 6%. Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for August was 3,095 thousand euros.
At the end of August one new Monton franchise store was opened in Zaporogie Ukraine. At the end of August Baltika Group had 131 stores, among which franchise stores: 16 in Ukraine, 13 in Russia, 6 in Spain and 2 in Belarus. At the end of month there was 94 shops operated by Baltika, shops average month sales area increased by 1% compared to the same period last year.
Wholesale increased by 23% and e-com sales increased by 27% compared to August in previous year.

Sales revenue for eight months totalled 30,443 thousand euros, decreasing 4% compared to the same period last year. Retail sales revenue from continued operations was 25,422 thousand euros (-6% yoy). At the same period the Group’s average retail sales area increased by 2%. Wholesale was 4,210 thousand euros (+14% yoy) and e-com revenue 664 thousand euros (+6% yoy).
In connection with Baltika’s reorganisation of Russian retail business and selling the company there (agreement was signed on 22 February 2016), the sales revenue of the Russian entity is presented as discontinued operation. In 2015 comparative figures sales announcement presents only the results of continuing operations.
