ADISA’s 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show on Pace for Record Attendance

Approximately 1,000 attendees and 80 exhibitors expected at the conference, keynoted by MLB’s Joe Torre


LAS VEGAS, Sept. 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ADISA, the nation’s largest trade association representing the alternative and direct investment industry, announced today that its 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show is on pace for record attendance, including its highest registration to date of broker-dealers, registered investment advisors (RIAs), and registered representatives. Professionals of these specialties are expected to constitute nearly 50 percent of attendees at the conference.

Held September 26 – 28 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, ADISA’s 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show is expected to host approximately 1,000 attendees. Educational sessions at the conference will discuss new alternative products such as life settlements, interval funds and private equity; business development companies; real estate investment trusts; Section 1031 exchange; an update on the Department of Labor’s fiduciary rule; energy; oil and gas, and more. The conference also delivers education specifically focused on aiding broker-dealers, RIAs and registered representatives.

Baseball Hall of Fame member Joe Torre, Major League Baseball’s chief baseball officer and former manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, will keynote ADISA’s 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show.

The three-day program will also include a presentation by award-winning actress Linda Gray at its Women’s Leadership Forum luncheon. The purpose of this forum is to connect women in the alternative and direct investment industry; strengthen their professional networks; and enhance their personal and professional growth.

ADISA’s 2016 Annual Conference & Trade Show is designed for all industry professionals who sponsor, analyze, market, distribute or sell alternative investments. Several educational sessions qualify for continuing education credit. The event is expected to host approximately 80 exhibitors.
