SFC Energy AG: Change of revenue and earnings guidance for the 2016
business year

  - Large defense project in Germany planned for 2016 will not be realized
    in the current business year

  - Continued uncertainty in Oil & Gas market

  - New revenue guidance for 2016 of ca. EUR 40-42 million with respective
    negative influence on profitability and liquidity

Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, September 29, 2016 - An expected order in the
defense market will, due to necessary technical remediation, not be placed
in the current business year. The Company is confident to quickly remedy
the detected "technical insufficiencies". Moreover, the Company is
confident that the defense business will continue to be an important unit
of the Company and efforts with customers in this market will be further
intensified. Due to this missing order and the continued difficult
situation in the Oil & Gas market SFC management expects reduced 2016
revenues of ca. EUR 40-42 million as well as a respectively reduced
profitability and liquidity.

The Company is currently working on alternative solutions for timely
compensation of the otherwise expected negative effects on liquidity and
profitability.
