About the Lawsuit

Cognizant and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.

On September 30, 2016, Cognizant revealed that it “is conducting an internal investigation into whether certain payments relating to facilities in India were made improperly and in possible violation of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other applicable laws.”  Cognizant further announced the resignation of the Company's President, Gordon Coburn.

On this news, the price of Cognizant’s shares plummeted.
