Latvenergo AS – the most valuable company in Latvia for the ninth year


Riga, 2016-10-12 15:45 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, on 12 October, Latvenergo AS was recognised as the most valuable company in Latvia according to "TOP101", a ranking created by "Prudentia" in collaboration with "Nasdaq Riga" stock exchange. Latvenergo receives this award for the ninth year, although the results have not been steady for each year. This year Latvenergo AS has achieved 22% increase in value compared to the last year, when according to the ranking value was by 18% lower. Thus the company not only convincingly retains its status among the Latvian companies, but also has climbed from position 6 in 2015 to position 5 in 2016 in the evaluation of the Baltic TOP 10 companies. Latvenergo has also achieved the largest increase in value among the Baltic companies, while the energy companies of both our neighboring countries have grown their value by 5%, nevertheless retaining their previous rating.
