Wirecard AG: Preliminary results third quarter 2016

Aschheim (Munich). Wirecard AG recorded a successful third quarter 2016.

In the nine-month period 2016, consolidated revenues grew by approximately
33.0 percent to EUR 719.8 million according to preliminary figures (9M/
2015: EUR 541.0 million). In the third quarter 2016 consolidated revenues
were up by 33.4 percent to reach EUR 268.0 million (Q3/2015: EUR 200.9
million).

Preliminary EBITDA increased by approx. 35.0 percent to EUR 213.8 million
in the first nine month of fiscal year 2016 (9M/2015 EUR 158.4 million). In
the third quarter 2016 EBITDA grew by 35.4 percent to EUR 81.4 million
(Q3/2015: EUR 60.1 million).

The Management Board of Wirecard AG is expecting a positive business
development in the fourth quarter 2016 and re-affirms the current guidance
for the current fiscal year to reach EBITDA in a bandwidth of between EUR
298 million to EUR 312 million.

All results are preliminary. The report for the third quarter/9M 2016 will
be published on 16 November 2016.
