Nykredit has appointed Lars Maagaard, State-Authorised Public Accountant, as new Chief Audit Executive from 1 March 2017. Lars Maagaard will be heading the Nykredit Group's Internal Audit team of 22 people and will replace Claus Okholm. Claus Okholm, who will turn 55 in 2017, is leaving Nykredit in the course of 2017 at his own request to take up a directorship and consultancy career. Before leaving, he will see to a smooth transition of tasks and ensure that Lars Maagaard is properly introduced to his new job.
Lars Maagaard is 43, has been a partner at KPMG and is leaving a position as chief auditor at Deloitte. His positions in the internal audit departments of Nordea and Danske Bank and his work as an external auditor have given Lars Maagaard extensive experience in the auditing of financial businesses.
