Apivio Announces its Dexter Series of IP Phones Completes BroadSoft Interoperability Testing

Dexter family becomes Apivio's third product line to achieve interoperability testing with BroadSoft network of over 600 service providers across 80 countries

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - November 14, 2016) - Apivio Systems Inc. ("Apivio" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: APV), a leading provider of VoIP solutions, today announced that its Dexter family of IP desk phones completed interoperability testing with BroadSoft, Inc.'s (NASDAQ: BSFT) BroadWorks SIP interface. Apivio can now market and sell the Dexter line to BroadSoft channel partners, which includes telecom service provider customers, resellers and integrators. Following the Monet UT880 Android desk phone and Liberty L2 announcements, the Dexter series becomes Apivio's third product family to achieve interoperability testing with BroadSoft BroadWorks call control platform.

"We are very pleased that our Dexter series of products has completed BroadSoft interoperability testing to join their network of global service providers," stated Rob Bakshi, President and CEO of Apivio Systems Inc. "Joining the UT880 and the L2, the Dexter series rounds out our product offering to BroadSoft service providers and dealers whose end customers seek top-tier communication equipment. By having all three of our product lines successfully interoperable and available to BroadSoft channel partners, we are able to meet the unique needs of any end-user while growing our own distribution network significantly."

BroadSoft is the leading provider of cloud-based unified communications ("UC") telephony solutions, with over 15 million total hosted UC lines deployed through more than 600 service provider customers (including 25 of the top 30 by revenue) across 80 countries. With a dominant 41% market share in the fast-growing cloud-based UC sector according to Frost and Sullivan, BroadSoft represents a new and significant channel for Apivio to market its tested products, which includes the Liberty L2, Monet UT880 and now the Dexter series IP phones. Apivio is approaching telecom operators and other channel partners that either sell or deploy BroadSoft-compliant equipment.

In addition to achieving interoperability testing with BroadSoft SIP, Apivio is exhibiting at the annual BroadSoft Connections conference in San Antonio, Texas from November 13th to 15th to introduce the UT880 desktop phone. Hundreds of BroadSoft service provider customers, as well as industry leaders and market influencers will be in attendance at the BroadSoft Connections conference.
