NASSAU, Bahamas and PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas, Nov. 14, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas has welcomed its first guests with a soft opening of the four-star deluxe resort. Warwick Hotels and Resorts (WHR) invested US$40 million to create the premier adults-only, all-inclusive hotel set along Nassau Harbour with views of Nassau and Paradise Island.

The resort features 250 rooms on 12 floors, four dining options, two bars, a fully equipped fitness center, entertainment and activities, an onsite gift shop and a tour desk offering sightseeing options to the destination's attractions. Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas is a 30-minute drive from Nassau's Lynden Pindling International Airport. World-famous Cabbage Beach is a 10-minute walk away with dining and shopping nearby.

Resort Facilities
A signature feature of the resort is the 10,000 sq. ft. Warwick Sea Terrace, overlooking the harbour marinas, complemented by an outdoor steak and seafood restaurant (opening late fall 2016), which will be open to the public and is available at a surcharge to in-house guests. The Sea Terrace has an arrivals' dock and an expansive boardwalk featuring a unique waterside wedding belvedere offering a picture-perfect backdrop for destination weddings.

The resort offers five room categories including Island View, Water View, Harbour Deluxe Balcony, Harbour Premium Balcony and Harbourfront One-Bedroom Suite.

Travellers coming to Paradise Island on a cruise or arriving on their own boat can experience Warwick Paradise Island Bahamas by purchasing a Deluxe Day Pass. The day pass provides access to the resort from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and includes breakfast and lunch served in The Verandah and at Chickcharnies Pizzeria & Grill, unlimited beverages at the poolside Hog Bar (including beer, wine, liquor and tropical drinks), use of the resort's facilities, beach towel service and chaise lounge chairs poolside or on the beach.
