NEW YORK, Dec. 07, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ohr Pharmaceutical, Inc. (Nasdaq:OHRP), an ophthalmology research and development company, today announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market and other conditions, shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase common stock in a public offering. 

H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC, is serving as exclusive placement agent for this offering.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes, including Phase 3 Clinical trials of Squalamine.
