SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - December 09, 2016) - Silicon Legal Strategy today announced that Peter Volz has joined the firm as an associate in its San Francisco office. Peter's hire marks the sixth new associate to join the team in 2016.

Peter has extensive experience advising early-stage and emerging technology companies, as well as venture capital investors on a wide range of issues. Before joining Silicon Legal, Peter worked at the Silicon Valley office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati where he worked extensively with both private and public companies on corporate and transactional matters. His experience includes entity formations, venture capital financings, public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.

Peter's breadth of practice also includes commercial litigation experience for over four years while at Carroll Burdick & McDonough LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs) and Gordon & Rees LLP.

Peter has been named Northern California Super Lawyer Rising Star by San Francisco Magazine from 2013-2016.

Peter received his B.A. from Saint Mary's College of California and his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
