MacB Welcomes New Vice President of Human Resources


Dayton, Ohio, Jan. 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DAYTON, Ohio January 17, 2017 – MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services, cyber security and product solutions, announced today that Christopher T. Hill has joined MacB as the new Vice President of Human Resources (HR), effective Monday, January 16. Mr. Hill has more than 20 years of professional and executive experience aligning human resource objectives with corporate vision and strategy, supporting the delivery of business and financial goals. In his new role, he will report directly to MacB’s Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Mia Kerivan-O’Malley.  

Before joining MacB, Mr. Hill worked for the Ohio Department of Medicaid in Columbus as the Director of HR, managing a team of 16 professionals responsible for labor and employee relations, consultation, talent acquisition, and payroll/benefits for more than 600 employees. Before that, he served 10 years as the Director of HR Operations for the Battelle Memorial Institute. Mr. Hill worked as the senior leader and budget owner for team of 24 HR professionals at the company, managing strategic consultation, talent acquisition and development, change management, and equal opportunity employment/diversity for a business comprised of 2,800 employees. He also served in the U.S. Navy for more than eight years as an HR Generalist, earning 1997 Sailor of the Year honors. Additionally, Mr. Hill was awarded the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and other medals and citations for meritorious service. 

He has earned Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute, Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification from the Society of Human Resources Management, and is a Certified White Belt in Lean Six Sigma. 

Mr. Hill received a bachelor’s degree in Management of Human Resources from Bellevue University in 1996, and earned a master’s degree in Labor and Human Resources from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2004.
