Vitec appoints Patrik Fransson as new Investor Relations Officer

Olov Sandberg, who together with Lars Stenlund founded Vitec Software Group in 1985, will leave his operational role in Vitec Software Group and retire from work. Olov will unchanged remain as one of the main owners of the company. The COO Patrik Fransson will succeed Olov Sandberg as IR-Officer from February 27 2017.

Physicists Olov Sandberg and Lars Stenlund founded the company in the mid-1980s in order to develop software for energy saving calculations on a personal computer. Both Lars and Olov has a background from the University of Umeå but towards the end of the 1990s, the business had grown and an IPR was made on AktieTorget in spring 1998. In summer 2011, the company changed its trading to NASDAQ OMX Nordic. From 2017 Vitec Software Group is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in the Mid Cap segment.
