no 19/17 Change to risk groups of DS Month Futures and Average Rate Month Futures in delivery for Nordic Electricity, German Electricity and Nordic EPADs

DS Month Futures and Average Rate Month Futures for Nordic Electricity, German Electricity and Nordic EPADs in delivery are normally handled in different risk groups in the margin model. They have temporarily been put in the same risk group while awaiting implementation of margin offset between risk groups during delivery. This implementation is now ready and the orignal set-up and the margin offset between risk groups will become effective in the intra day margin calculation at 9 am March 31st, 2017, given successful testing. The impact on margin requirements will depend on the composition of positions in the margin calculation account; most members won’t be impacted by the change.

There will be no changes to the layout of clearing reports or data files.
