Dublin, April 06, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "Mexico Attorney Hourly Rate Report 2017" report to their offering.
'The 2017 Mexico Rate Report' is the most comprehensive analysis of the Individual Attorney billing rates of Mexico's largest Law Firms and non-Mexican Firms (mainly US and Vereins) doing business there from 2012 - 2017.
Despite the oil & gas industry decline in the last 24 months, Attorney Hourly Rates are expected to remain flat, increase, or moderately increase in 2017-2018 due mainly to the fairly diverse Mexican economy, ranked number 15 by the OECD which will translate into significant Litigation, Corporate and Trade legal work according to the Report.
In terms of the Report, not all timekeepers will appear in every year so sometimes average rates may vary; in this case the trend line and averages over the 2012 - 2016 period are the best indicators. In the event that we have no rates for a given field (Year or Position), an algorithm is used to estimate a rate or rates.
In Section 5, The Relative Rate Rankings Section, we calculated the average Partner hourly rate from 2014 - 2016 for each Firm. We consider Senior Partners to be ones with 25+ years of experiencing (Law School Graduation Year of 1989 or sooner), Partners with 24 years or less experience and Senior Associates with 5 years or more experience. Of course, those experience levels may vary by Firm but seem to work for both Large Law Firms and Middle-Market ones.
For the Relative Rate Rankings in Section 2, we took the average of all timekeeper positions in 2015 and 2017. For the relative Deal Rankings, we took the total values of the deal, when present.
