On 7 April 2017, SIA Merks, part of AS Merko Ehitus group, has entered into the contract with SIA M257 for the construction of Multifunctional Centre Akropole located at 257 Maskavas street, Riga. The main general contractor SIA Merks has decided to engage UAB “Mitnija” as partner with a share of 50:50.
The scope of works includes the multifunctional centre with the total area about 98,000 m², comprising of shopping centre, office building, ice arena and the cinema complex. The works will also include construction of extensive infrastructure supporting the multifunctional centre – parking, works at surrounding streets and landscaping.
The value of the contract is approximately 100 million euros, plus value added tax. The construction works will start in April 2017 and are scheduled to complete in January 2019.
