Blumenthal joins the firm’s Commercial Litigation group, where he will focus on environmental compliance, permitting, and litigation. Blumenthal has more than 25 years of experience in environmental law, including in the acquisition and redevelopment of environmentally impaired Brownfield sites and remediation of hazardous substance and hazardous waste properties. A former Ohio Assistant Attorney General in its Environmental Enforcement Section, he has prosecuted and defended claims under local, state, and federal environmental regulations and advises on a range of compliance and permitting issues.
