Dana Estates – You’ve Arrived

The ultimate in bragging rights for a lucky party of six – Proprietor Jae Chun will open the doors to Dana Estates, one of the most beautiful and exclusive wineries in Napa Valley and in the world, for an incredibly personal evening at the winery. The highest bidders will dine with Chun at the winery with food prepared by TORC Chef and Proprietor Sean O’Toole paired with gems from the cellar of Dana Estates and from Chun’s private collection. Settle into your accommodations for three nights high atop Howell Mountain at the gorgeous Dana Estates guesthouse with a birds-eye view of the 100-point Lotus Vineyard. When you awake, Winemaker Chris Cooney will take you on a personal tour of the coveted Dana Estates Vineyards – Helms, Hershey, and Lotus - and join you for an al fresco lunch. When your three-day stay at the guest house comes to a close, each couple will be taking Dana Estates with them – in the form of a magnum of the 2014 Helms Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon plus a guaranteed spot on the Dana Estates mailing list for each lucky pair.

A Grand Cru Evening: The French Laundry and Domaine Bonneau du Martray

Enjoy an evening of unbridled luxury at the hands of two uncompromising masters in the world of food and wine. Dinner for three couples at The French Laundry will be presented exclusively with library pairings from Domaine Bonneau du Martray.  Recently acquired by Screaming Eagle’s Proprietor Stan Kroenke, the Domaine is known to collectors for stunning, age-worthy Corton-Charlemagne.  Bonneau du Martray is easily one of Burgundy’s benchmarks as they are THE only Domaine to bottle wine exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards. Hosted by Mary Margaret McCamic MW who is one of only 41 Masters of Wine in the U.S. and as the importer, this stellar evening will uncover the mysteries of the Domaine as she narrates. To extend this special event, three mailing list spots are guaranteed allowing direct access to these rare wines from the estate.

A Private Promontory Experience at the Harlan Family’s Recently Opened Winery

Three couples are invited to experience the wild land, secluded vineyards, wines, and winegrowing philosophy of Promontory, the Harlan Family’s recently opened winery and ongoing development of raw Oakville territory. Together with Winegrower Cory Empting, Director Will Harlan has assumed the leadership role from his father, Bill Harlan, to carefully cultivate Promontory in a pursuit to reveal through wine the land’s enigmatic diversity – of soil, elevation, exposition, and climate.

"Kings of the Hill”: A Curated and Signed Collection of 6Ls From Elite Pritchard Hill Wineries

Direct from Napa’s white-hot growing region, this imperial court boasts Pritchard Hill’s most coveted gems: Brand, Chappellet, Continuum, David Arthur, Gandona Nine Suns, and Pulido Walker. A curated collection of 6 Liters (6Ls) from Pritchard Hill has never before been on offer. Don’t miss the opportunity to enhance your cellar with this exceedingly rare collection of Pritchard Hill’s apex wines — signed and in larger-than-life format.

Chang & Bang – Your Own Barrel of Wine from Nine Suns and Russell Bevan

The Nine Suns Houyi Vineyard, farmed by David Abreu, sits high above the cloud line in the magnificent red volcanic soil that has made Pritchard Hill famous. Russell Bevan, your 100 point wunderkind, will take this perfect pedigreed Houyi fruit from the 2017 vintage generously donated by Nine Sun’s Jason and Flora Chang and make one barrel of winejust for you.

Victoria DeCrescenzo, Russell’s beautiful other half, will guide you through designing your label.  Debut your wine at a private dinner with five of your friends hosted by Russell and Victoria at the brand new Tench Vineyard winery in Oakville for an unforgettably fun evening of food and wine, including selections from Russell and Victoria’s private cellar.

In 2016, WineaPAWlooza live and silent auctions raised more than $1,750,000 for an important cause—saving animals. The most coveted lot featured Napa legends Andy Beckstoffer and Russell Bevan and was auctioned to two bidders for $150,000 each.

Said Auctioneer Fritz Hatton of the 2016 event: “Responding to the unconditional love of animals and inspired by an amazing array of rare and exquisitely curated lots, a tremendous herd of bidders unleashed their paddles, sensing that they were accelerating an extraordinary project to sooner completion. This was one of the most exciting auctions I have conducted in the last thirty five years.”

More lots will be added to the lineup each week leading to the event on July 29. Those interested in proxy bidding should contact Monica Stevens at monica@jamesonrescueranch.org.
