Great Demand for ABLV Bank Bonds


Riga, Latvia, 2017-06-30 07:41 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ABLV Bank, AS has performed two new coupon bond issues, their total size amounting to USD 75 million and EUR 20 million at face value. The issues were performed under the Seventh Bond Offer Programme, and the bonds are planned to be included in the Nasdaq Riga regulated market — Baltic Bond List — on 4 July 2017.

The demand for the bonds considerably exceeded the offer, and thus applications of some investors were satisfied partly. During initial placement, the bonds were acquired by 146 investors.

The parameters of the issues:

  • Coupon bond issue of USD 75 000 000
    (issue name: ABLV FXD USD 030719; ISIN: LV0000802270)
    The issue size is USD 75 000 000. The number of bonds is 75 000. The face value of one bond is USD 1 000. The annual interest rate is fixed: 2.25% with coupon payment twice a year. Initial placement price: 100% of the face value. The issue date is 3 July 2017, and the maturity date is 3 July 2019.
  • Coupon bond issue of EUR 20 000 000
    (issue name: ABLV FXD EUR 030719; ISIN: LV0000802288)
    The issue size is EUR 20 000 000. The number of bonds is 20 000. The face value of one bond is EUR 1 000. The annual interest rate is fixed: 0.75% with coupon payment twice a year. Initial placement price: 100% of the face value. The issue date is 3 July 2017, and the maturity date is 3 July 2019.

Taking into account the already redeemed bonds, we have performed 43 public bond issues so far. Currently, 20 bond issues are included in the Baltic Bond List of Nasdaq Riga of total face value over EUR 500 million.
