Frame adds key executives to accelerate enterprise and public sector adoption

Jason Holloway, Head of Public Sector, and Ruben Spruijt, Field CTO, bring decades of industry experience to the Frame leadership team

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - August 03, 2017) - Frame, the secure cloud workspace platform, today announced the expansion of its leadership team with Jason Holloway as the Head of Public Sector and Ruben Spruijt as the field Chief Technology Officer. Holloway and Spruijt each bring decades of experience and leadership in IT, cloud, and virtualization that will help Frame meet soaring demand for its cloud-based virtual workspaces.

Jason Holloway leads Frame's Washington DC office and Public Sector business. Holloway came to Frame from the US federal government, where he held the title of Chief Technology Officer for Cloud Services, spearheading the acquisition, deployment, and implementation of a groundbreaking $600M contract to bring Amazon Web Services to the US intelligence community. He previously served as chief of global satellite communications in the United States Air Force (USAF) at the Air Force Command and Control Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Center, where he led efforts to modernize ground-based terminal communications systems and capabilities. Holloway has also held various management positions at the USAF, Federal Government, and Rackspace. He received a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a Masters of Science in information systems technology from George Washington University.

"Public sector IT managers are tasked with enhancing security while lowering operational costs," said Holloway. "Frame delivers on both counts. It lets them deliver Windows applications through any browser, on any device, while keeping data in a highly secure cloud like Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, or AWS C2S. Frame's cloud-first, pay-as-you-go model is exactly what the public sector needs right now."

Ruben Spruijt drives Frame's technology evangelism and thought leadership programs in addition to building communities and interacting directly with customers and partners. Spruijt comes to Frame from Atlantis Computing, where, as field CTO, he was responsible for driving the vision behind software defined storage and hyper-converged infrastructure. He previously served as CTO of IT services firm PQR, where he created solutions for "Tomorrow's Workspace and Datacenter," including application and desktop delivery, enterprise mobility, virtualization, and cloud computing. Spruijt brings a reputation as a well-regarded author, speaker, market analyst, technologist, and all-around geek. An established industry leader and luminary, Spruijt has presented more than 250 sessions at national and international conferences talking about modern workspaces, datacenter solutions, and cloud computing. Ruben also founded several independent industry analysis bodies including Team Remote Graphics Experts (TeamRGE), AppVirtGURU, Virtual Reality Check, and VDILikeAPro.

"Frame is the future of application remoting and desktop virtualization," Spruijt said. "Now that we have cloud services like Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS, most organizations don't need to purchase and run VDI in their own data centers anymore. It is about the applications not the infrastructure. With Frame, you get all the benefits of a virtual workspace without the hassle of on-premises solutions. It changes what you expect from Application Remoting and VDI, and is the next logical step in an intelligent cloud world."

Holloway and Spruijt will report to Frame CEO Nikola Bozinovic.

"Jason and Ruben are proven leaders with unique insights into productivity and security needs of our enterprise and public sector customers," said Nikola Bozinovic, founder and CEO of Frame. "This is a major milestone for us, and I'm excited to have them lead our most strategic initiatives and support our explosive growth."
