VA Seeks Small Business Contractor to Provide Bedroom Furniture

Invites SDVOSBs to Respond


Montrose, New York, Aug. 04, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) released on August 4 a sources sought notice in which it invited service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) interested in and capable of providing bedroom furniture to respond with capability statement.

Interested and capable contractors must be able to provide the VA with:

Wardrobe chest with double door, one large bottom drawer and three drawers on right side, interior shelf, and clothes

  • Nightstand with top drawer and open compartment below
  • Pedestal desk three drawers and computer drawer in knee space
  • Panel head board and foot board with four storage drawers and one compartment door under the bed

The sources sought notice also described the types of finishes the VA seeks as well as the type of hardware furniture should have.

The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 337122, and the contractor who receives the contract – if the VA determines it can successfully solicit for and receive competitive bids from SDVOSBs – must deliver the furniture to the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, Montrose Campus, in Montrose, New York.
