PHOENIX, AZ, Sept. 18, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marketing and advertising firm, SunWire, is excited to announce the grand opening of their newest location in the Phoenix market. The new office, dubbed “SunWire West” will be located in Peoria, AZ and is scheduled to open its doors September 18th, 2017.
Upon announcing the company’s exciting news, CEO & Founder of SunWire’s headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, Weston Read, also stated that he would be promoting Patrick Laughlin to Director of Operations at the Peoria location. When asked why Read had chosen Laughlin to head the expansion project, Read responded by explaining his company’s corporate culture.
“There is no seniority at SunWire, so every promotion or advancement is earned, not given,” explained Read. “Since joining the company, Patrick has proven himself a natural leader and mentor, so I know he has what it takes to head a project of this magnitude.”
Laughlin, who joined the company in April of this year, was overjoyed after receiving his promotion. According to the new Director, he feels that all of his hard work had finally come to fruition and he is excited for the opportunity. After graduating from the Metropolitan State University of Denver, Laughlin went into sales and fell in love with the field. After finding his passion in marketing, he joined SunWire and the rest is history.
When asked how he has managed to do so well, so quickly, Laughlin credited the training that he received. According to Laughlin, he feels that he has learned how to build relationships within his network, which makes him a highly valuable asset to the company.
“I’ve learned so much about the importance of relationships in business. When you show others that you’re willing to work just as hard for them as they are for you, they’ll respect you much more as a manager,” stated Laughlin.
Assisting Laughlin with the expansion is Account Manager, Matthew George who graduated from Arizona State University this past May. Being a recent graduate, George was thrilled to be chosen to help with such a big project. When Read and Laughlin were asked why they had chosen George for the venture, they both agreed he’d shown that he has a “do what it takes” mentality and that is what is needed with expansions like these.
“I’m ready to hit the ground running and I’m excited for anyone that will also be joining our team at SunWire West,” said George. “I’ve had such great training and opportunities for growth within the company and I want to share that with others too!”
Also joining the team at SunWire West is Shannon Rich who was also thrilled to be chosen for the expansion. Rich joined the company after her graduation from the University of Western New Mexico in May. Rich was eager for the training in marketing and management that she would receive, but she didn’t realize that working at the company would also positively affect her personal life.
“I feel like working with the team at SunWire has made me a better person,” said Rich. “I used to waste so much time being unproductive, and now I wake up ready to attack the day!”
According to Read, he could not be more proud of the entire SunWire West team. The director says that he is confident in his and Laughlin’s selections for the group and can’t wait to see what they accomplish going into the fourth quarter. While Read is delighted with the growth that his company has seen so far in 2017, he says that he will not become complacent.
“This has been a big move, but we’re far from finished,” declared Read. “Phoenix hasn’t even begun to see what we can do in this market. We’re only going to get stronger from here.”
