MONTERREY, Mexico, Sept. 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mexican airport operator Grupo Aeroportuario del Centro Norte, S.A.B. de C.V., known as OMA (NASDAQ:OMAB) (BMV:OMA), announces that the 7.1 magnitude earthquake that struck central Mexico yesterday afternoon caused the loss of water, power, and gas at the NH Collection Hotel in Terminal 2 of the Mexico City International Airport. As a result, hotel operations have been temporarily suspended.
A comprehensive review of the installations and infrastructure, undertaken together with the civil protection authorities of Mexico City, has not identified any structural damage.
Work is actively underway to reestablish, as quickly as possible, water, power, and gas service, and to carry out minor repairs in order to resume operations as quickly as possible, and to provide the full range of services to our guests.
