First product launch with Fingerprints' touch sensor FPC1028

World-leading biometrics company Fingerprints' touch sensor FPC1028 is integrated in Huawei's recently launched smartphone Maimang 6. This is the first product launch with the FPC1028, the most cost-efficient and high performing touch sensor on the market.

"I'm delighted to see our industry-leading technology featured in this launch. Not only is this the first commercial smartphone launch with FPC1028, yet again we've been chosen by Huawei and continue our strong and long-term relation with one of the industry's largest players", says Ted Hansson, SVP, Business Line Mobile, at Fingerprints.

Short about the FPC1028
As previously communicated, by launching the FPC1028, Fingerprints enabled smartphone manufacturers to integrate a cost-efficient touch sensor with excellent performance. This is fully in accordance with the company's strategy to further expand its offering. The FPC1028 is Fingerprints' most cost-efficient touch sensor and the lower manufacturing cost is due to a smaller sensor surface area, as well as the total system solution which has helped to reduce cost for integrating the sensor in a fingerprint sensor module.
