Safeware's Furniture Care Kits are a highly effective, enzyme-based option for customers who experience accidental stains and spills.

Dublin, Ohio, Oct. 10, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Safeware, a leading provider of product protection and extended warranty solutions, is spearheading an effort to accelerate and enhance the repair process by reducing the need for in-home service visits. According to the company’s historical claims data, approximately fourteen percent of all furniture damage reported by customers is due to stains or spills.

Stains can be caused by a variety of spills and other incidents, including soda or wine, pet fluids, oil, nail polish and many others. Spills and stains on furniture often create odor, rendering the sofa, recliner, or other product unusable until the stain can be removed. Now, instead of asking customers to coordinate with a repair facility and take time from their busy schedules to meet the technician, Safeware is offering a self-service option by dispatching a highly effective, enzyme-based stain kit directly to the consumer.

“Safeware’s Protection Plans are designed to cover all accidental stains, regardless of cause. This robust coverage has created the need for an increased focus upon timely and effective stain removal,” says Safeware’s Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Schutjer. “The distribution of the kits has been completely automated, allowing customers to receive rapid service without having to wait for a representative to contact them or schedule an onsite repair visit."

The kits are dispatched automatically through Safeware’s proprietary policy management system when the customer initially reports the incident. Once shipped, the kits arrive at the customers’ home and include materials that fight odor, remove stains, and maintain fabric or leather coloring. In the unique case that the stain is unable to be removed using the solutions provided, Safeware assigns a qualified repair technician to follow up with the customer and resolve the issue.

This program not only saves customers time and money, but has the added benefit of being environmentally friendly. Safeware has partnered with eco-friendly production and distribution companies to ensure that the packaging and materials inside the kit are non-toxic and biodegradable.
