Best Medium Workplaces rankings are based on surveys conducted by Fortune's partner Great Place to Work. Great Place to Work's survey of The Trade Desk found that 96 percent of the company's employees agree that their workplace is great. In fact, staff votes tallied 96 percent or above in all of the metrics included in the survey: 98 percent indicated that they have great pride for their company and rate the company's atmosphere as excellent, 97 percent note their great bosses, and 96 percent highlighted the challenges, rewards and communication at the company are outstanding. The ranking was based on anonymous feedback from more than 74,000 employees working at Great Place to Work-Certified organizations. Employees completed a Trust Index™ survey with more than 50 questions assessing pride, camaraderie, executive effectiveness, innovation, benefits, professional development and other elements of a great workplace.
