Mountain Peak Marketing Lends a Helping Hand to the Homeless

PIKESVILLE, MD, Jan. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Premiere advertising and marketing firm, Mountain Peak Marketing, has made a name for themselves in the marketing field as one of the fastest growing firms in the Pikesville area. While the company prides itself on its commitment to excellence and growth for their clients, it also views philanthropy as a top priority and huge part of its corporate culture.

Director of Operations at Mountain Peak Marketing, Alex Amos, recently announced his company’s commitment to the “We All Can Help” campaign and shared that he couldn’t be more excited to pair with the organization.

“I believe that a big part of success is giving back to the community whenever you can,” said Amos. “Sharing that ideology with my team is really important to me.”

The “We All Can Help” campaign benefits the homeless population in Baltimore, MD and aims to provide them with clothing, food and housing. The organization runs year round, but is especially active during the harsh winter months. According to Hope Mission, a Canadian based non-profit organization, frostbite, hypothermia and hunger are among the biggest dangers that homeless men and women face during the winter season. Because of this, Mountain Peak Marketing has decided to join the “We All Can Help” mission and donate to the organization year-round.

The marketing firm has since donated clothing and canned goods to the organization and plans to attend functions to help raise awareness of homelessness in Baltimore. According to Amos, the team has committed to quarterly donations.

Donations to the organization include can openers, shoes, socks, underwear, and personal hygiene products such as toothbrushes, hair brushes and combs. Since the organization relies heavily on volunteer or minimally compensated staff, monetary donations are also graciously accepted.

“I’m thrilled to work with a group that’s devoted to the well-being of our fellow man. I’m also incredibly proud of my team for stepping up and immediately agreeing to participate in the ‘We All Can Help’ project. Their willingness to help has made me even more excited to get involved,” shared Amos.

With that being said, it’s no surprise that the Mountain Peak Marketing team has decided to extend its community involvement to the Move for Hunger foundation as well. According to the director, the charity encourages businesses to donate cardboard boxes to be filled with canned goods and other dry food donations.

While the team will most certainly have their hands full with their normal productivity and the two charities, Amos says that he is still open to getting involved with other charities in the Pikesville-Baltimore, MD area.

“I highly encourage my team to open up to me about any charities that are close to their hearts. I’m always open to getting involved with other organizations whenever possible,” explained Amos.
